Human Resource Is The Most Important Asset of An Organization Assets, defined as a ‘valuable thing’ by Oxford Dictionaries, are key success determinants of any organization. The perception of value in an organization, brand or product, merits customer adoption while supplementing organizational goals that could, in the long term, determine financial sustainability and success of a company. The idea that human resources, employees across all levels of an organization, as the most important asset is increasingly staking its claim in the 21st century business landscape. The business environment has continually, in the past and present, shaped the way in which countries are governed, how companies strategize and the way economies shift.†¦show more content†¦Such factors have raised the stock on human assets. Besides financial investments in attracting talents, companies will also need to invest in training and development of these talents along with ensuring proper retention policies are in placed so as not to lose both human and financial invested capital in the long term. Human Assets Across Corporate Structures One could argue that such emphasis placed on human resource assets are only applied to top managerial positions or decision makers within an organization. However, from a structural point of view, corporate brand and identity are influenced across all levels of hierarchy. With globalization and technology, product substitutes are easily found online or offline. Therefore, it is important that consumers’ interaction with an organization throughout their adoption process is perceived as a conclusive pitch. From production, frontline, service workers to top-tier management, the corporate identity has to remain intact in order to achieve effective top of mind recall.
